Senior Data Engineer (SRE)

Description

This role is in the Warsaw downtown office and is a full-time position for an experienced professional.

You will work on AI agents, automations and tools that keep the company's enterprise data pipelines reliable at scale.

The company sells globally recognized consumer brands and runs operations in about 70 countries.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that use LLMs to detect, classify and diagnose pipeline problems, reducing manual investigation with automated reasoning and self-healing workflows.
• Work with engineering teams to build in observability, reliability and resilience from the design stage through production.
• Create automated data quality checks that validate data as it moves through pipelines and catch problems before consumers see them.
• Build logging and monitoring tools that flag issues before they affect downstream users, so failures are easy to see and debug.
• Investigate failures, find root causes and use what you learn to improve the systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Experience building ETL or ELT data pipelines.
• Strong Python skills and the ability to write production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM or AI agent features to production or near-production use.
• Working knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform. Azure is preferred.
• Experience building logging systems in production.
