Copywriting

About the Role: Omnicom Productions is looking for an adaptable, strategic, and sharp-witted Senior Copywriter to help drive the creative execution for a global automotive account. You’ll write across a broad mix of channels—from product videos to creator-style feature-focused social spots, dynamic digital campaigns to tactical dealership touchpoints.

In this role, you’ll focus on keeping your creative craft sharp while using modern tools to maximize your output. You’ll map out copy variations by writing directly into message matrices, and you’ll help train and guide AI copy agents to handle the heavy lifting. By letting these tools take care of the repetitive parts of the process, you'll free yourself up to focus on what matters most: strong storytelling, deep conceptual thinking, and premium execution.

If you're a seasoned writer, especially in the automotive space, who moves easily between platforms and wants to build great work at the intersection of traditional craft and modern tech, we'd love to meet.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Writing: Write compelling, product-accurate copy for video scripts, digital banner ads, dealership-focused social media posts, automotive brochures, and point-of-purchase (POP) displays.
  • Videos: Develop engaging scripts for various video formats, including product-focused long form, social shorts, and creator-style vehicle walkarounds.
  • AI Integration: Utilize and train AI tools and generative text agents to accelerate brainstorming, initial drafting, and high-volume versioning without losing brand tone-of-voice.
  • Brand & Compliance Consistency: Maintain a clear, distinct brand voice across all touchpoints while ensuring all copy adheres to automotive legal compliance standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with art directors, strategists, and product specialists in all aspects of the creative and production process.
  • Presentations: Help concept, build, and confidently present creative ideas during
  • client presentations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of copywriting experience in an advertising agency, with a strong focus on automotive clients or dealer networks.
  • AI Tool Fluency: Practical experience using AI writing assistants and prompt engineering to scale content creation and improve workflows. (preferred)
  • Automotive Knowledge: Deep familiarity with car terminology, trim levels, and dealer-incentive marketing. (preferred)
  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly between big-idea creative storytelling and fast-paced, retail-driven messaging.
  • Diverse Portfolio: A proven portfolio showcasing a mix of video scripts, digital/social campaigns, retail POP, and print.
  • $90,000 - $100,000
  • To the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
