Senior Backend Engineer, AI Code Review (Remote Contract, US or Canada)

Description

This is a remote contract role for experienced engineers who work on coding AI.

The work centers on judging and improving how models write and review code, and on building the data and evaluation systems behind that work.

Responsibilities

• Define rubrics and evaluation criteria for coding AI.
• Review and label model output.
• Build pipelines that generate data and evaluate models.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, or JavaScript.
• A strong track record of building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure.
• A plus: experience with rubrics or preference data.

Conditions

Work 20 to 40 hours a week, with at least 4 hours overlapping US Pacific time.

The contract runs 3 months and starts immediately.

Open to residents of most US states and Canada.

You will not interview with the company itself; a hiring partner handles selection.
