Description

Agency:

Omnicom Media

Job Function:

Data and Analytics

Job Subfunction:

Data Science and Analytics

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Data Science to join our growing data science practice. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of quantitative models and analyses across a portfolio of marketing clients, including predictive modeling, regression analysis, and statistical work spanning media, pricing, and promotional data. This role suits someone with 1-2+ years of hands-on analytics experience who is ready to take greater ownership of model design, client interaction, and mentorship of junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the build and maintenance of data science models such as Marketing Mix Models using regression-based techniques, working with weekly or monthly time-series data across media, pricing, and promotional variables.
  • Own data validation, cleaning, and QA processes for client-provided datasets, establishing best practices for model-ready inputs.
  • Run and interpret statistical analyses including adstock transformations, diminishing returns curves, and decomposition outputs, flagging issues in methodology or data quality.
  • Prepare and review model documentation and structured outputs (Excel workbooks, charts, summary tables) for internal and client review.
  • Partner directly with senior team members and clients on methodology decisions, model refinement, and results interpretation.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior analysts, providing feedback on code, methodology, and QA.
  • Drive internal tooling and process improvements as the team scales.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • 1-2+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative role.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting analytical work to stakeholders or clients.
  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, particularly regression analysis and time-series methods.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization (pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of concepts such as multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, model fit diagnostics, and variable selection.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently through large, messy datasets with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Exposure to Bayesian methods or hierarchical modeling.
  • Prior experience with marketing data (media spend, impressions, GRPs) or consumer datasets.
  • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior analysts.

Conditions

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.

Benefits

  • Hands-on experience working across multiple industry verticals and client types.
  • A collaborative team environment with growth into more senior, client-facing responsibilities.
  • Exposure to the full MMM lifecycle, from data intake through to client delivery, with increasing ownership.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • At Omnicom Media Canada, careers are designed for growth. We’ve purposefully crafted a transformative talent experience built with accountability in action - focused on community, impact, and opportunity.
  • Community - We build a culture where our people show up for each other, grow together, and win together.

  • This is an active vacancy. We are currently hiring for this role and reviewing applications on an ongoing basis.
  • Expected Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
  • Omnicom Media is providing the compensation range that the company is willing to pay for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • In addition, Omnicom Media provides rewarding offerings such as:
  • Generous paid time off with a minimum of 37 paid days off including vacation and monthly wellness days. We also have four-day long weekends, half-day summer Fridays, and meeting-free Friday afternoons year-round.
  • A flexible hybrid work model that works for you.
  • A focus on personal development with formal training opportunities, including mental health training and inclusion education for everyone.
  • A chance to be part of and grow within a global network of agencies.
  • The opportunity to contribute to our company culture by joining one of our many community-based employee groups, such as Black Employee Network, Girls on Fire, Hispanic or Latinx Alliance, Neuro Network, Pan-Asian Network, and Rainbow Lounge.
