Quality and Assurance Engineer (Senior)

The company is hiring a Quality and Assurance Engineer to support its government customer in Chantilly, VA.

The company is a privately held defense and government solutions business founded in 1989 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia. It focuses on advanced technology systems and mission support, covering data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance work to make sure software products stay reliable and perform well across the software development lifecycle.
• Write test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Run automated and manual tests.
• Log defects and track them through to resolution.
• Set up QA processes, tools, and methods.
• Make sure work meets the customer's security and quality standards.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with knowledge management and code repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.

Conditions

Work is performed in a normal office environment.

Work is done on site at the company's office, where the team is based.
