The company is looking for a Product Manager for the Core HCM Product. As a Product Manager, you will support driving the next generation of our enterprise product, focused on building API and AI-first solutions that fundamentally reimagine how customers manage their workforce.

In this role you will use strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to build products and features that deliver new value to our customers while engaging with other internal teams to successfully achieve strategic organization-wide goals.

About the Role

The Product Manager supports the scrum team and our business in many critical areas. You will own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, with an immediate focus on incorporating AI capabilities and supporting our continued international expansion. Your core mission is to prioritize and deliver maximum customer value through an API and AI-first product lens. To be successful you will:

Drive the AI-First Strategy: Identify opportunities and define requirements for building intelligent, agent-based, or machine learning-powered features into the Core HR product.

API-First Solution Design: Possess background in designing and delivering products using an API-first methodology.

Prioritize for Customer Value: Ruthlessly prioritize the product roadmap and sprint backlog based on data (customer usage, market analysis) and a clear focus on the highest-impact features for customers.

Product Definition & Execution: Write clear, concise product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria (including UX mockups) for the scrum team.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the product domain expert, collaborating with engineering, UX, and other the company teams to ensure successful, scalable design and delivery.

Market & Customer Insight: Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to inform the product vision, translating complex business problems into simple, elegant product solutions.

This position is based out of Pleasanton, California. We operate with a hybrid model requiring at least 50% of time in office.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • You have 4+ years experience designing, building, and implementing enterprise cloud applications as a SaaS product manager.
  • Proven experience or deep understanding of building AI-first, ML, or agent-based products and the specific development lifecycle these technologies require.
  • You enjoy collaborating, organizing, and delivering across teams.
  • You’re able to translate customer and market needs into product results and support through the entire product lifecycle.
  • You’re a skilled and curious researcher who has the ability to conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive landscape research, as well as primary user research.
  • Exceptional ability to define, track, and communicate success metrics that directly correlate product features to customer value.
  • You excel in both written and verbal communication to provide clear requirements and share progress updates.
  • You are self motivated to investigate complex unknowns and build a clear path forward.
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) Products and Touchpoints
  • Prior experience in extension of product to international markets
  • Experience with enterprise HCM product such as the company

  • The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. The company pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the the company Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.   • Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USD
