Description

The company's GPUs have powered PC gaming, modern graphics, parallel computing and the deep learning wave behind current AI. The Enterprise AI team builds AI agents used internally across the company, for personal assistance, engineering productivity, analytics and supply-chain work. The agents are already live in production.

This is a hands-on principal role for an engineering leader who will make these agents highly reliable and polished, and who will design the next generation of agent infrastructure so it can scale. The work is engineering, not research.

Responsibilities

  • Raise reliability, performance, observability, release confidence and user experience across desktop, web and service-based AI products.
  • Design and build resilient frontends, backend APIs, distributed services, data flows and deployment systems that handle enterprise scale.
  • Set standards for testing, debugging, CI/CD, safe rollouts, auto-updates, monitoring, incident response and operations, so the agents run like mature software.
  • Build reusable capabilities for several agent domains, such as orchestration, deep-agent workflows, memory and context services, evaluation frameworks, telemetry and policy-aware tool integration.
  • Help validate and run Nemotron, the company AI Blueprints and related platform features in enterprise production.
  • Document architecture, shared components and operational playbooks, mentor engineers, and build foundations that many people can own and reuse.
  • Define the core architecture for how agents find each other, collaborate securely, establish trust and run under enterprise governance.
  • Work with domain AI engineers, product managers, designers, infrastructure teams, IT and researchers to deliver measurable gains in employee productivity, engineering efficiency, AIOps and enterprise operations.

Requirements

  • A BS, MS or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
  • 15+ years building and running production software, including substantial experience leading architecture and delivery across the full stack.
  • Familiarity with enterprise deployment, security, authentication, device management and application lifecycle management.
  • Solid experience across frontend, backend and platform layers. Relevant technologies include TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Electron or similar desktop frameworks, Python, Go, Java, APIs, data systems and distributed infrastructure.
  • A proven record of moving complex products from prototype to reliable, secure, well-run production. Deep skill in testing strategy, release engineering, observability, performance tuning and incident response.
  • Experience building shared services, internal platforms, SDKs or core infrastructure used by several teams or products.
  • Working knowledge of AI application patterns such as LLM applications, RAG, tool use, CLI workflows, reusable skills, MCP integrations, evaluation loops, memory systems and agentic workflows. You do not need to be a research scientist, but you must know how to build reliable, production-grade AI systems.
  • Good judgment and communication, and the ability to lead across teams while staying hands-on.

Conditions

Base salary depends on location, experience and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary range is 272,000 USD to 431,250 USD.

Applications are accepted at least until November 3, 2026.
