  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional team members. Strong writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Write design, analysis and test reports.
  • Work independently with little supervision, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Hold an active US Government Secret clearance now.
  • Preferred: apply research to planning, designing, developing and testing LabVIEW algorithms, test environments and systems for space and military uses, and design solutions for demanding performance requirements.
  • Preferred: strong interpersonal skills for working within a development team and understanding system-level interdependencies and design limits.
  • Preferred: CLAD, CLD or CLA LabVIEW certification.
  • Preferred: experience in a cross-functional setting (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, test and production engineering, among others) turning customer requirements and functional block diagrams into control models, reviewing and updating control system requirements, running trade studies and presenting alternative designs.
