Description

The company's CIDO Classified Solutions team is hiring a principal analyst to support the full lifecycle of classified information systems.

The company builds secure, affordable, multi-domain systems and technologies for government missions.

Responsibilities

  • Run system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations and operating processes to judge the security posture of information systems.
  • Assess systems and networks in their enclave, spotting where they stray from approved configurations, enclave policy or local policy.
  • Analyze whether security requirements hold, and recommend new requirements and safeguards.
  • Help put required government policy into practice, suggest how processes should be tailored, and take part in and record process work.
  • Set up strict program controls that reduce risk and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, covering process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software and hardware review, emerging technology research, inspections and periodic audits.
  • Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) each government accrediting authority requires by preparing before tests, taking part in them, analyzing results and writing the required reports.
  • Document A&A results and technical and coordination activity, and build the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, a Bachelor's with 5 years, or an Associate's with 7 years. A high school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirement for the Principal Cybersecurity Analyst role by holding Security+ CE, and keep that certification to stay employed.
  • Hold a current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a closed investigation completed within the last 6 years, or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered. Keep the clearance to stay employed.
  • Be able to obtain and keep access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as A&A under RMF.
  • Preferred: CI polygraph.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix and SCAP.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of security frameworks and documents such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms and SCTMs.

Primary level base salary range is $114,000.00 to $171,000.00, set by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions.
