Description

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the Marketing Manager will report to the Associate Director Brand for Meal Kits ANZ, working as part of a team that is responsible for bringing the HelloFresh brand strategy and go-to-market plan to life in fresh, creative ways in New Zealand. Excitingly, frequent travel to Australia is required as part of this role, to work closely with our Sydney team. This is a full-time, permanent role, starting from Oct 1 2026.

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate marketer that wants to help shape and change the way people eat forever. Most of all, someone that will enrich our team at HelloFresh.

We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences. So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d love and thrive in this role, we would really like to hear from you and learn more about you.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and hands-on execution of HelloFresh New Zealand marketing plans, becoming an expert on the local consumer, media, and food category landscape while balancing global stakeholder requirements.
  • Contribute to an integrated brand calendar, working with local/global creative, brand, and product teams while integrating campaigns across marketing channels (SEO, influencer, paid social, direct sales, etc.) to drive wider goals.
  • Partner with the HelloFresh ANZ Product Marketing Lead to support, deliver, and seamlessly integrate product marketing as part of broader brand activity.
  • Champion the HelloFresh customer at the heart of everything, supporting performance, CRM, direct sales, and CX teams with customer-focussed creative and comms briefing to reinforce the brand value proposition.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships (creative, PR, media) and central ATL teams to write insight-led briefs, develop media strategies, and execute localized brand activity.
  • Manage the end-to-end creative production of campaigns and autonomously deliver locally- and globally-led brand partnerships, collaborating with central teams and local culinary, product, growth, and ops functions.
  • Coordinate and track the HelloFresh New Zealand brand budget, maintaining accurate records and processing spend to deliver world-class activity on time and to budget.
  • Deliver post-campaign analysis and reports, sharing the impact of marketing activity on business and brand KPIs alongside recommendations and hypotheses to test for future brand activity.

Requirements

  • Passionate about food and the HelloFresh brand, immensely curious about future possibilities, and driven to bring an innovative, ambitious approach to brand marketing.
  • Extensive marketing knowledge (ideally brand/digital), with a solid understanding of tailoring cross-channel communication to increase brand salience, love, and consideration while balancing data to inform planning and decision making.
  • Excellent understanding and track record in delivering end-to-end ATL activity, including media strategies, media plans, and executing creative and comms to deliver on plans.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional influencing skills (written/verbal) to navigate a global organisation across multiple functions, products, and local and central teams.
  • A natural talent for inspiring exceptional creativity, writing clear, simple, insight-driven briefs (often at pace for topical/trending opportunities), and making space for creatives to do their best work.
  • Exceptional project management skills and a highly organised approach to keep clear WIP and budget documentation, working cross-functionally to deliver on time and to budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously to drive an ambitious brand plan agenda, ensuring stakeholders are brought in at relevant stages, while remaining an accountable, proactive, solution-oriented team player.
  • Data literate, analytical, and structured in problem solving—including problem definition, hypothesis development, testing, analysis, evaluation of results, and recommendations.
  • What you’ll get in return…
  • The chance to have a significant impact in a leading global food technology company
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Egoless environment, constant learning with room for personal growth
  • Free access to Headspace
  • Internal learning & development
  • A diverse and vibrant international environment, with offices in 18 countries
  • Competitive salary & benefits - 70% off HelloFresh
  • Access to ClassPass corporate membership - 33 credits per month
  • Start Date: 1st October 2026
  • Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand
  • Location: Penrose, Auckland - hybrid working environment
  • Salary: Competitive salary & employee benefits
