Description

The company is building an operations cloud for physical product businesses, an AI-native platform that tracks the flow of goods, money and data in real time across procurement, inventory, orders, fulfillment and finance.

It is meant to replace spreadsheets and slow, consultant-heavy ERP systems, with quick time-to-value and changes that do not require months of re-implementation.

The platform's Adaptive Resource Platform and unified operational data model let teams deploy fast, automate workflows and adjust as they go.

The company recently closed a $55M Series B co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest, with participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital and Pathlight VC.

The Forward Deployed Services team drives both the company's core work and its customers' success. This role leads a team of Forward Deployed Product Managers while you stay hands-on with the work yourself.

You will run a portfolio of the company's most complex, high-value client relationships across the full post-sales lifecycle: discovery into how goods, information and money move, product design covering the data model, workflows and integrations, build and configuration on the platform, then UAT and go-live.

The company hires across the US but is currently prioritizing candidates in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of FDPMs serving upper mid-market and enterprise clients, owning their output, client results and professional growth.
  • Work hands-on through discovery, design, implementation and go-live, staying in the work alongside the team rather than above it.
  • Take ownership of the company's most complex client relationships, where your team's execution shows up directly in your portfolio.
  • Lead cross-functional deep dives inside customer organizations to map business processes and workflows from end to end.
  • Help drive new product capabilities that support the company's move into upper mid-market and enterprise.
  • Set the bar for best-practice processes across the team, creating what is missing and improving what exists.
  • Turn process flows into product design and configuration on the company platform.
  • Work with technical teams on integrations and data migrations.
  • Lead portfolio UAT, training and go-live support, and build relationships that drive retention and expansion.
  • Coach your FDPMs on client management, problem-solving approaches and delivery quality, and set up feedback loops that speed their development.
  • Drive automation and AI-focused improvements to the product and to the customer lifecycle processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations or technical program management, including time managing people with direct reports.
  • Experience leading a team through an ERP implementation, covering scoping, configuration, data migration and go-live. This is strongly preferred, but experience leading implementations of other complex B2B software or running professional services delivery teams is also considered.
  • Ability to see how people, process and technology connect, to untangle those links and rebuild them, and to teach others to do the same.
  • A hands-on leadership style: you model the work, roll up your sleeves and hold the team to a high standard rather than delegating everything.
  • Experience thriving in high-pressure settings such as startups, consulting or finance.
  • Ability to understand difficult engineering and logic problems through intuition and break them down for others.
  • Ability to cut through noise, synthesize information quickly and make sound decisions under ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical skills. SQL experience is a plus but not required.

Conditions

Remote role in the US, with a current priority on candidates in Denver, CO.
