Description

The team builds and runs the Investment Accounting platform within Alpha Services, part of an investment data and technology business that serves institutional clients.

The role leads product initiatives on the platform, working across Product, Technology, Operations and Client teams to turn enhancements into client-ready services.

The ideal candidate has deep Investment Accounting and IBOR domain knowledge, strong skills in requirements definition and solution design, and experience running delivery through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement definition and solution design for strategic product development on the Investment Accounting platform.
• Make sure requirements and designs hold up at both the component level and the end-to-end level, and document them well.
• Build agreement on end-to-end solution design and requirements with stakeholders across Product, IT, Operations and Client teams.
• Drive enhancements through the development lifecycle so they meet timeline and cost commitments.
• Spot impediments and issues early, and propose practical, high-impact options to resolve them.
• Use client requests, partner feedback and market trend analysis to shape the strategic product roadmap.
• Help adopt AI processes that improve product management and delivery.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or information systems is the minimum.
• At least 15 years of financial services experience, including hands-on product management and development.
• Proven experience in product management, business analysis or relevant operations work within product development initiatives.
• Proven Investment Accounting expertise in one or more of: accounting, security valuation, cash management, and corporate actions/income.
• Comfort presenting to and working with stakeholders, including clients.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizations to reach shared goals.
• Organized, with a proven ability to juggle several tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Deep domain expertise, strong business analysis and analytical problem-solving skills, business and industry knowledge, and practical experience with Agile and SDLC development.

Conditions

Base pay is $115,000 to $205,000 per year.

The pay range applies to the primary location listed. If the person would ultimately work outside that location, the range could differ.
