Open roles cover Java developers, DevOps engineers and solution architects, including senior developers, architects and technical leads.

The work spans projects in Java development, cloud-native applications, DevOps, software architecture and digital transformation.

The company supports organizations through ongoing technology change and works with clients across business and society.

Possible assignments include Java and senior Java development, DevOps engineering, solution and software architecture, API and integration work, application modernization, and microservices and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and modernize software in Java, including cloud-native applications and API or integration work.
• Take part in DevOps practices and software architecture decisions, depending on the assignment.
• Contribute to microservices and event-driven designs, or lead technical work as a senior developer, architect or technical lead.

Requirements

• Experience as a Java developer, DevOps engineer or architect.
• Sound knowledge of current Java and software engineering practices.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and in Dutch or French.
• Available for freelance work now or open to freelance work later.
• Depending on the project, you may work with Java 17 and Java 21, Spring Boot, Azure Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures and SQL databases.

Conditions

Freelance assignments in Antwerp, Brussels, or hybrid arrangements.

Work is spread across different IT projects.
