IT Engineer

The company is changing how people find answers. It launched Computer in 2026, a product built for agentic AI, and millions of people use its product to turn knowledge into action. Behind that sits the infrastructure that keeps a fast-moving company running.

The team is looking for an early-career IT Engineer who wants to learn quickly. You'd join a small IT team that builds the systems and automations keeping everyone productive. The ideal person picks up new things fast, turns to AI first, and fixes problems without waiting for direction. Daily use of AI tools is expected as the team builds an AI-native IT platform.

This role is hybrid, based at the San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Use Computer to create foundational AI automations, custom skills and workflows that let IT run at scale.
• Tune the agentic IT ticketing system by spotting trends, tracking KPIs and shaping agent behavior so requests get resolved faster.
• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, both in person and remotely, covering hardware, accounts and SaaS apps.
• Build self-service tools for the company and encourage people to use them.
• Contribute to IT projects in endpoint management, identity and access management (IAM) and the IT back end.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT help desk and systems administration, ideally at a fast-growing startup.
• Hands-on experience with macOS and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Okta, ideally including Okta Workflows.
• Experience using AI coding tools and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with MDM tools such as Iru or Intune is a plus.
• A methodical approach to root-cause troubleshooting and a strong drive to automate repetitive work.
• Clear, friendly communication and a genuine enjoyment of helping people.
