Sign Up to ReadOpenAI didn’t begin as a traditional company. It began as an idea: that artificial intelligence could be developed in a way that benefits everyone. As a creative team, our role is to help make sure the work behind that idea is understood, as it leaves the lab and meets the world.
This company works at the frontier of intelligence. Like any frontier, it’s unfinished, constantly shifting, and still being explored. Our job is to stay close to that uncertainty and help shape how this story gets told, in a way that feels grounded and human. We do this through campaigns, launches, films, brand systems, and work that doesn’t fit neatly into any of those categories yet. This team is for people who want to help shape something from the beginning.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager to help translate our products, their value propositions, and our broader brand strategy into audience-specific, globally relevant marketing programs. You’ll shape how people discover, understand, adopt, and engage with our products across markets and stages of the customer journey. You’ll connect product narratives, audience insight, cultural context, and business goals into strategies that make advanced technology feel clear, useful, and human.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a marketer who understands how product marketing, brand strategy, audience research, and international growth work together. You’ll develop segmentation frameworks, lifecycle and go-to-market programs, regional insights, and partnership opportunities; then work across product marketing, growth, creative, partnerships, analytics, and regional teams to bring them to life. Your work will connect launches, product education, customer engagement, and ongoing storytelling into a coherent journey from awareness to advocacy.
To us, creativity is a team sport. Ideas get better when you talk them through and build on each other’s thinking. We value curiosity over certainty, kindness over ego, and the ability to balance craft with decisiveness.
In this role, you will:
Translate complex product capabilities, use cases, and value propositions into clear, differentiated messaging that is relevant to distinct audiences without losing accuracy, nuance, or the product’s ambition.
Develop audience segmentation frameworks based on customer needs, behaviors, use cases, regions, industries, and stages of the customer journey.
Create audience-specific messaging and campaign strategies for groups such as creators, builders, professionals, students, consumers, and emerging-market users.
Lead cross-functional marketing programs end to end for defined audiences or initiatives, with minimal oversight, setting priorities across awareness, acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and advocacy.
Lead research efforts including customer interviews, surveys, social listening, competitive analysis, market trends, and behavioral data.
Turn research and performance signals into actionable audience personas, messaging frameworks, briefs, campaign recommendations, and market insights.
Identify cultural, regional, and language-specific opportunities across global markets, and help adapt global campaigns for local audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Develop go-to-market plans for new campaigns, product features, audience programs, partnerships, and market expansions.
Identify partnership opportunities with creators, developers, communities, platforms, industry groups, and other audience ecosystems.
Align partners across product marketing, growth, CRM, creative, analytics, partnerships, and regional marketing; resolve tradeoffs and shape creative direction to deliver coordinated customer journeys.
Measure campaign and audience performance, using data to improve messaging, segmentation, customer journeys, regional strategies, and future marketing investments.
Build reusable campaign processes and playbooks, and coach peers and junior teammates to improve planning, creative collaboration, and execution.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 5–8 years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, audience strategy, partnerships, or related fields.
Bring deep familiarity with AI products, foundation models, generative AI capabilities and limitations, and common user workflows; this is a critical qualification for the role.
Have experience translating complex technology and technical product capabilities into clear, compelling, differentiated customer value propositions.
Are a strategic thinker who can turn audience insight, cultural context, product strategy, and business goals into a compelling point of view and an actionable marketing system.
Can move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution: building the framework, writing the brief, launching the program, and reviewing results.
