Information Security Engineer

Description

The company is looking for an experienced security engineer to support security operations, incident response, and ongoing security improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents and respond to them.
• Carry out security hardening and implement security improvements.
• Give technical security advice and support.
• Manage and secure Microsoft identity platforms, including Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Support endpoint security initiatives and good practice.
• Run security assessments and find vulnerabilities.
• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Improve security documentation, processes, and operating procedures.
• Work with infrastructure, operations, and security teams.
• Help with continuous security monitoring and efforts to reduce risk.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, or incident response.
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Good understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and endpoint security.
• Experience investigating and resolving security incidents.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• PowerShell or another scripting language.
• Experience with security hardening.
• Experience with vulnerability management and risk assessments.
• Experience with security assessment tools.
• Experience writing security procedures and SOPs.
• Relevant Microsoft or cybersecurity certifications.
• Dutch at fluent level.
• English at professional level.
