Description

The company uses computer vision and AI on a cloud-native platform to modernize video security for businesses, offering real-time alerts, clip sharing, and visibility across multiple sites.

The company is a fast-growing team of about the same kind of builders, founded by former Lyft engineers with PhDs from Cornell and Oxford, backed by Ansa Capital, Battery Ventures, Mosaic, 8VC and Up Partners, with over $65M raised and named to the CB Insights AI 100.

The company aims to change a $50B+ legacy security and operations industry with multimodal LLMs and computer vision, turning cameras and sensors into smart systems for firearm detection and intelligent access control.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow the company's events and field marketing program as it expands across the U.S.
  • Set the events strategy from scratch: choose which conferences, trade shows and regional events to attend, and decide how to engage prospects there.
  • Work with the Growth and Sales teams to turn events into pipeline and stronger customer relationships in education, government and public safety.
  • Run events end to end, including conference selection, planning, budgets, registration, booth logistics, shipping, travel and staffing.
  • Coordinate pre-event outreach with Sales and Growth, schedule meetings, and push participation.
  • Set up lead handoff after events, make sure follow-up happens quickly, and track which leads become sales opportunities.
  • Organize hosted events such as executive dinners, roundtables and regional gatherings.
  • Measure results: meetings generated, pipeline influenced, cost per meeting and ROI.
  • Create repeatable playbooks, processes and resources so sales teams can run smaller events on their own.
  • Handle several events at once with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Keep reviewing performance and adjust strategy, budget and event choices.

Requirements

  • 3, 7 years of experience in events, field marketing or a related B2B role.
  • Experience running events yourself, from planning through execution, or owning an events program.
  • A record of building or improving event programs with measurable results in meetings, pipeline or revenue.
  • Strong project management skills to juggle multiple events, deadlines and stakeholders at once.
  • Experience with event budgets, vendors, logistics and coordinating across teams.
  • A clear understanding of how events feed B2B sales pipeline and customer engagement.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams on event participation and follow-up.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Nice-to-haves: experience at a high-growth technology or startup company; experience marketing or selling to education, government, public safety or physical security organizations; experience building an events or field marketing program from the ground up; background in hospitality, venue management, live events or other hands-on event operations; previous sales or revenue-generating experience; experience organizing executive dinners, customer roundtables or regional field marketing events.

Conditions

Travel about 40%, with flexibility during peak event seasons.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision and base life insurance, 100% paid by the employer.
  • Flexible paid time off plus 10 paid holidays.
  • 401(k) with Traditional and Roth options.
  • Early-stage equity in a rapidly growing company.
  • Referral bonuses.
  • Daily team breakfast and dinner, plus regular team off-sites.
  • The latest Apple products and an unlimited tech stack, including Claude Cowork, Perplexity Computer, Nooks, Clay and Instantly.
