The team is looking for an experienced GenAI Engineer to build, deploy, and improve AI-powered applications. The role centres on LLM-based solutions, agentic workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and connecting AI applications to enterprise data sources and APIs, with strong skills in Generative AI, LangChain, and LangGraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered applications in Python using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Create agentic workflows and multi-agent systems on top of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build and improve Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Connect LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and open-source models to applications.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices that support AI solutions.
• Handle prompt engineering, tool calling, memory management, and workflow orchestration.
• Connect vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Work with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
• Track and assess model performance, response quality, and system reliability, and make improvements.
• Apply security, governance, and responsible AI practices throughout your work.

Requirements

• Solid Python programming experience.
• Hands-on work with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience with the OpenAI and Azure OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or REST API development.
• Experience with at least one of Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, FAISS, or Milvus.
• Knowledge of AI agents, tool calling, memory, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• A strong grasp of software engineering best practices and design patterns.

Conditions

Base salary varies by geography and other factors. For roles filled in Charlotte, NC, the base salary is $95k - $100k/year, plus benefits.
