This is a Forward Deployed Business Analyst role, Associate level, working in cross-functional teams to rethink, build and scale solutions that drive growth and shape how the firm operates. It goes beyond gathering requirements for technology teams: you will combine business analysis, product discovery, business architecture and hands-on prototyping to turn unclear problems into solutions that business users and engineers can test and improve together.

The ideal candidate blends the structured thinking of a business analyst, the prioritization judgment of a product owner, the enterprise view of a business architect and a hands-on builder's drive to act.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex, unclear business problems and quickly turn them into solution hypotheses that can be tested and that have measurable outcomes.
• Document the business context, including terms, entities, relationships, decision logic, data dependencies, controls and exceptions, for subject matter experts, AI tools and engineering teams.
• Break business processes down into explicit logic, controls and exception paths that technology teams can build from.
• Build functional prototypes with AI-enabled development tools to uncover requirements, test assumptions and validate future-state processes, data, policies and controls.
• Help define the target operating model, covering data ownership, governance, controls, roles and exception management.
• Work continuously with business experts, product managers, engineers, architects, data specialists and control partners from discovery through implementation.
• Set measurable project objectives, build agreement among stakeholders, and clearly communicate plans, progress and results to stakeholders and management at every level.
• Use sound judgment and critical thinking to solve complex problems and adapt as the business changes, while staying curious about new approaches and technologies and rigorous in challenging results.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience in transformation, product delivery, business architecture, technology-enabled change or a comparable field.
• Experience in business architecture and operating-model design, linking solutions to business capabilities, roles, governance, policy ownership, controls and exception handling.
• Skill in solving problems through prototypes, turning unclear business problems into working prototypes that stakeholders can see, test and challenge.
• Advanced use of AI-enabled development environments to speed up analysis, prototyping, requirements definition and testing, including critically reviewing generated output, keeping traceability and knowing where human judgment is still required.
• Experience with iterative delivery and hands-on work through repeated cycles of analysis, experimentation and solution shaping.
• Experience in financial services or a similar industry.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain objectives clearly and influence outcomes.

Conditions

Hybrid work model: you are currently required to be in the office at least 4 days a week, with the option to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more office time based on their roles.

For New York, NY only: the base salary range is USD$105,000.00 to USD$137,500.00. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare, leave and retirement. Pay is based on performance, and total compensation may vary by role, location, firm, department and individual performance.

For Atlanta, GA only: the base salary range is USD$95,000.00 to USD$127,500.00. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare, leave and retirement. Pay is based on performance, and total compensation may vary by role, location, firm, department and individual performance.
