The company is a financial technology business that builds software products and services for payments companies, fintechs and financial institutions. It offers fraud detection, security, decision-making analytics and regulatory compliance tools, along with customizable programs.
This role leads an integration engineering team that builds and supports the data connections linking Workday with financial, HR, payroll and cloud platforms. You will work with People Operations, Finance, Enterprise Engineering, Security and outside vendors to set technical direction and deliver dependable data integrations at scale.
The company is looking for a technical leader with deep Workday experience who also leads people well. You will help engineers grow, clear operational blockers, protect data integrity and steer the team through hard technical problems.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor an engineering team covering Workday HCM, Financial Management, Payroll and the wider Workday technical ecosystem, balancing hands-on technical work with people management.
Set the Workday technical roadmap, architecture standards, engineering principles and platform modernization plan in line with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
Turn department priorities into sprint goals, integration specifications and project plans, keeping delivery on schedule while managing operational dependencies.
Build and maintain secure, resilient and reusable integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs and enterprise platforms such as MuleSoft.
Define standards for technical design, peer review, automated testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, incident handling and production support.
Own production support and incident management for the integrations. Lead root-cause analysis, run blameless post-mortems and drive preventive improvements.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, such as benefits administrators and financial platforms, enforcing service level agreements (SLAs) and strict data privacy compliance.
Lead semi-annual Workday release testing and regression cycles, and identify new capabilities such as Workday Extend or Prism Analytics that add business value.

Strong partnership skills with Finance, HR, Payroll, Security, Data and enterprise architecture teams, turning business needs into scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
