Deployment Strategist

Description

The company is a physics AI firm for industrial clients, building a new simulation software stack that applies deep physics AI across the full engineering lifecycle.

It works with customers in aerospace and defence, automotive, semiconductors, materials, and energy and renewables on some of their hardest engineering problems.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with offices in London, New York, and Singapore and a growing presence in the Bay Area.

This is a customer-facing role, called Delivery Engineer internally, where you act as the main contact for strategic accounts and turn AI solutions into long-term partnerships.

The work draws on both AI and engineering backgrounds, and you help customers connect advanced AI capabilities with real engineering use.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and with the simulation, software, machine learning, and data science engineers to define the engineering and physics problems the team builds for.
• Develop and keep up relationships with day-to-day users and senior decision-makers at customer organisations.
• Run the account rhythm, including executive reviews, account reporting, and tracking of delivery progress and value.
• Lead customer onboarding and change management so that what is built gets adopted and delivers measurable value.
• Track adoption and engagement alongside customers, gathering signals and feedback.
• Support customer delivery teams, covering onboarding of embedded members, team health surveys, and NPS.
• Build AI-enabled tools that make account operations quicker and easier to scale.
• Help grow the account and pursue adjacent semiconductor opportunities by finding problems and stakeholders, drafting proposals, and supporting contracts.
• Pass customer industry challenges on to the product team as feedback.

Requirements

• Bring a background in data science or machine learning, with a solid grasp of the end-to-end AI and ML product lifecycle and the ability to explain it to non-specialists.
• Or bring an engineering background that lets you link the company's solutions to real industry challenges.
• Returning to engineering after working elsewhere is welcome, even if your current role does not use your technical skills.
• Learn the core technology stack, cloud and software deployment, and product features quickly enough to guide customers and handle their technical requests.
• Have 4+ years of commercial, customer-facing experience and be ready to own the whole customer journey, from onboarding and change management to roadmap planning and contract preparation.
• Be strong at strategic planning, time management, problem-solving, and organisation, including sprint planning, aligning deliverables, and running smooth delivery.
• Preferred: experience in industrial or advanced manufacturing, such as automotive, semiconductors, or materials.

Conditions

Salary is $90,000-130,000, depending on experience.

Seniority is assessed throughout the interview process.

Hybrid working from the Manhattan office, with remote flexibility.
