Data Foundations AI Engineer Senior Manager

Description

The role sits on the Walmart Customer Team in the Fayetteville sales office and centres on data-driven and software-enabled solutions that business users rely on, delivered in fast, iterative cycles.

You work directly with stakeholders across the full application life cycle, both building and supporting solutions, and you help define and deliver the team's DevOps roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain software and data infrastructure for business-facing use cases.
• Improve CI/CD and DevOps practices so that delivery is reliable and repeatable.
• Contribute to internal tools, documentation and standards that speed up the team's development work.

Requirements

• You can write and maintain code, for example in Python and SQL.
• You understand P&G Data & Analytics architecture, including Azure, Databricks, Power BI Workspaces and Copilot Studio.
• You know DevOps best practices such as version control and CI/CD.
• You have data engineering experience with large datasets.
• You want to work directly with end users and find ways to get the most from the latest AI tools.
• Nice to have: experience deploying solutions through AI Factory, Pygentic or PowerApps.
• Nice to have: experience working in a high-performing Agile team.
• Nice to have: experience owning an application.

Conditions

The role is based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and requires a move to Northwest Arkansas to work with the Walmart Customer Team.
