Description

The company designs and manufactures hardware and software that detects, monitors and analyses radio frequency signals in complex environments, serving national spectrum regulators, the military and security and intelligence services.

Founded in 2007, the company's technology is used across most NATO countries and deployed worldwide, and it is now extending its work on spectrum monitoring and geolocation.

You will build application software for the team's distributed RF analysis and geolocation products, which may include user interfaces for armed forces customers, complex analysis algorithms, or APIs that connect to third-party products and systems of systems.

AI tooling is used where it helps speed up development, but you remain individually responsible for code quality. The role suits an established engineer who wants to build deeper technical experience in a collaborative team.

The listed areas are examples of work you may take on, not a checklist; the team is looking for the right attitude and a suitable mix of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and maintain embedded software in C,.NET, MAUI and related technologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work out solutions to general technical problems using your experience and analysis of system requirements.
  • Build solutions that let multiple nodes and tightly integrated systems of systems operate in a distributed way.
  • Suggest local changes or improvements to software systems, tools and development processes.
  • Put test automation in place, covering unit, regression and performance testing, to keep software quality high.
  • Take part in peer code and AI reviews, applying quality standards and giving constructive feedback.
  • Pass clear technical information to team members so tasks and implementation details are agreed.
  • Guide and support entry-level professionals and support staff when needed.

Requirements

  • A university degree in computer science, electronics or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A proven record of delivering application software that involves complex algorithms and/or user interfaces.
  • The ability to turn customer requirements into working operational software.
  • Good problem-solving skills and close attention to software detail.
  • Clear communication, with experience explaining technical facts and practices to internal colleagues.
  • Desirable: experience using AI development tools to speed up work while keeping code quality high.
  • Desirable: a basic understanding of, or background in, signal processing principles.
  • Desirable: experience building user interfaces where fast response and clear information are critical.
  • Desirable: experience developing APIs and interfaces for distributed systems.
  • Desirable: experience guiding or assisting junior engineers and entry-level staff.
