AI Data Scientist - Applied AI

Description

The company is a global digital technology team inside a healthcare group, using AI, data and scalable technology to support the wider business.

This is a hybrid role: you are expected in the office on average two days per week, though the exact days can change with business needs such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings and other joint events.

The role is titled AI Data Scientist, Applied AI, and sits at the Senior IT AI Business Analyst level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and rollout of models, owning each data model application from start to finish with little supervision.
• Find and solve intermediate to complex data problems, and validate models for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with business units to understand their data needs, and present data governance findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive medium-sized projects that shape business decisions and stay aligned with wider business goals and strategy.
• Build and maintain data governance dashboards from scratch, and improve the performance of existing ones, working with larger and more complex datasets.
• Use SQL, Python and other languages for advanced data manipulation, and apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to business questions.

Requirements

• Show a record of independently finding analytical opportunities, exploring data in depth, and taking projects from concept to deployment.
• Show a proven track record of leading medium-sized projects that affect business decisions and meet strategic goals.
• Be proficient in several programming languages and advanced data manipulation, with working knowledge of SQL, Python, Snowflake, Vue.js, React.js, Fast API and one dashboarding or visualization tool.
• Have strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Have strong data visualization and statistical modelling skills for thorough data analysis.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to a range of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate well with business units to understand and meet their data needs.

Conditions

Salary range is 14,175 to 26,325 PLN gross, based on the employment contract.

The expected salary for the Warsaw Grafit location is 170,100.00 to 315,900.00 PLN. Final pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications and location, and the role may also carry a discretionary annual bonus with a 15% target, based on individual and company performance.

Hybrid work model with an average of two office days per week.
