Description

The company is a global healthcare technology business with 95,000 employees across more than 150 countries, developing medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year.

The role sits in the Technology Enablement team within the Clinical, Medical, Regulatory & Safety (CMRA) organization, which gives colleagues modern digital tools, automation and applied AI.

The team wants an early-career AI Developer / Data Science Engineer, motivated to build practical AI solutions that raise productivity in clinical and regulatory operations. The work mixes hands-on building, new ideas and teamwork, helping teams adopt modern AI responsibly and at scale.

It is a remote role based in Slovakia, suited to someone with a few years of experience who wants to work with enterprise AI and see measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-driven productivity solutions using OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, CustomGPTs, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Build and maintain desktop and hosted AI solutions that make teams more efficient, and keep improving existing ones for stability, usability and long-term sustainability.
  • Support a small group of citizen developers with guidance, troubleshooting and reusable templates, and take part in the Product Information Chatbot working groups.
  • Help write internal standards, templates and governance practices for AI-enabled solutions, making sure everything meets company standards for data privacy, security and responsible AI use.
  • Evaluate new technologies that fit emerging business process needs and drive modernization within the regulatory function.
  • Manage the backlog of hyper-automation, AI-supported workflows and technology needs.
  • Track and report success measures and return on investment (ROI) for AI-supported workflows and new technology opportunities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • At first you implement and support solutions with guidance, then grow into independently developing solutions and mentoring citizen developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related technical discipline.
  • Approximately 2, 3 years of professional experience in software development, data science, automation or AI-related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, CustomGPTs, Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI platforms.
  • Foundational understanding of software development practices and solution lifecycle management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
