About the Role:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Sales Trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design and deliver training that elevates the proficiency of our global internal technical and partner Sales Engineers. You will architect curricula that translates deep cybersecurity and AI expertise into scalable learning assets, while validating content effectiveness through instruction. Success in this role requires a blend of cybersecurity expertise, IT infrastructure proficiency, and a strong understanding of sales motions, enabling SEs to articulate value, conduct effective demos and Proof of Value (POVs), and architect solutions at the cutting edge of industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Course Development & Subject Matter Expertise (Primary Focus)
  • Serve as a primary SME for the CrowdStrike portfolio, ensuring all training content is technically accurate and relevant.
  • Author comprehensive technical sales curricula—from outlines and lab scenarios to assessments—covering the full sales lifecycle through Proof of Value (POV) engagements.
  • Utilize AI and content development tools to accelerate curriculum development, keeping training at the forefront of emerging technology, including Agentic AI and AI for Security.
  • Leverage expertise in IT infrastructure (cloud, SaaS, networking, etc) to create context-rich, architecture-aware training materials.
  • Partner with instructional designers to translate technical knowledge into effective, pedagogically sound learning assets.
  • Maintain content authority by continuously monitoring the threat landscape, competitive dynamics, and product updates.
  • Proactively develop enablement content ahead of product launches to drive internal and partner readiness.
  • Training Delivery (Secondary Focus)
  • Deliver targeted instructor-led training (ILT) to internal and partner audiences.
  • Enable SEs to deliver outcome-based demonstrations that connect technical value to business pain points.
  • Assess trainer readiness to ensure global enablement consistency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in presales engineering, technical training, or cybersecurity consulting, with a proven track record as a subject matter expert in technical sales content.
  • Practical expertise in enterprise cybersecurity (e.g., SOC, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, Threat Intelligence, Identity, SaaS, or Cloud Security).
  • Proven ability to author comprehensive, technically rigorous, and instructionally effective technical sales training materials (curricula, labs, assessments).
  • IT infrastructure proficiency (networking, compute, etc) with the ability to integrate architectural context into training.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders while maintaining engineering credibility.
  • Proficiency in delivering clear, impactful presentations and interactive training to technical and business audiences.
  • Understanding of enterprise sales motions (discovery, demos, POV) and value-based selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC / MEDDPICC).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-relevant field.
  • Intellectually curious, competitive, and committed to continuous professional growth.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bonus Points:
  • Hands-on experience through delivering demos and POVs or in cybersecurity operations, incident response, digital forensics, or security-focused AI infrastructure—providing the operational depth that elevates authored content beyond theoretical instruction.
  • CrowdStrike Falcon certifications (e.g., CCFA, CCFR) or industry-recognized certifications (e.g., SANS, CISSP, CEH, OSCP).
  • Strong hands-on understanding of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform or equivalent competitive solutions across endpoint security, threat intelligence, or SIEM.
  • Regional language proficiency (e.g., French, German, Arabic or Spanish for EMEA).
