The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Revenue Systems Analyst responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of revenue-related systems and infrastructure. This individual will partner with multiple organizations within Adobe, including Revenue Assurance and Accounting Operations, Technology Services, FP&A, BU Product Teams, Legal, Order Management, and others to ensure accuracy and consistency of external and internal financial accounting and reporting data within the framework of a myriad of strategic business projects. The candidate has a passion for problem solving and can work in high-visibility situations to assess, build, implement, and communicate the best solution to a broad and varied audience.

Responsibilities

  • Support and backfill the Revenue Accounting and Operations organization’s daily tasks
  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting key health metrics for our revenue accounting systems (SAP S/4 HANA)
  • Coordinate with various teams across the Revenue Accounting and Assurance organization to understand accounting guidance and system behavior
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams on GTM initiatives by evaluating risks and impact to our revenue systems, and supporting initiative launches
  • Create and test trusted financial reporting data models which will be used cross-functionally to support the quarterly financial close and reporting process
  • What you need to succeed
  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required (Software industry and/or CPA firm experience preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of technical application of ASC 606 and all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition is required, with an emphasis on Software and SAAS principles
  • Experience and understanding of the Quote to Cash cycle
  • Proven record of guiding a project from requirements setting to Production Acceptance Testing (PAT); knowledge of agile methods is preferred
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale planning processes that involve multiple business partners
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead, set objectives, and seek to results
  • Proven record of delivery and ability to assess and prioritize competing demands
  • Hands on experience with SAP Order to Cash
  • Interest in design, project management, and collaboration
  • Deep understanding of AI-assisted tools, and active, thoughtful ability to employ frontier models for building risk-controlled Revenue Systems

  • Expected Pay Range:
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $87,800 - $188,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.&xa;&xa;In California, the pay range for this position is $130,200 - $188,550&xa;
  • At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
  • In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
