Your Team

You will join our Lending team which ensures a consistent and state of the art development of our lending products. We own all Solaris SE products that have a lending dimension, from Overdrafts or Installment loans to Credit cards. Our Credit Risk Tech team as one integral part of the broader lending team orchestrates and builds solutions that allow a regulatory compliant credit risk management for the aforementioned lending products. That includes credit assessments, credit risk monitoring and early warning systems, as well as credit agency integrations. In this role, you will be the credit risk tech product owner, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Credit risk Management, Operations, Legal and other departments to deliver a seamless and consumer centric experience.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Product Management: Take full ownership of a product sub-domain, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Together with the Engineering counterparts form the leadership team for the domain. You own and drive the vision, strategy and priorities of the Credit Risk Tech products in collaboration with the rest of the Solaris SE product team.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, clearly communicating product visions, strategies, and updates.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Contribute to the creation and execution of product roadmaps, setting clear priorities and milestones.
  • Agile Leadership and Team Guidance: Implement and refine agile methodologies within the development team to enhance productivity and delivery quality.
  • Solution Design and Innovation: Drive the development of solutions that meet market needs and user expectations, staying ahead of industry trends and applying creative thinking to solve problems.
  • Operational Excellence and Compliance: You participate in the proactive identification, management, and mitigation of risks and findings within your product domain, aligning with Solaris' compliance and policy standards.

  • You have domain expertise in Credit Risk Management ideally in a regulated financial institute
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar profession
  • You are passionate about combining Finance and Tech
  • You are highly analytical and solving complex problems is what excites you
  • You are data- and outcome-driven and dig for the business KPIs before start building
  • You are a collaborative nature and take your development team and the stakeholders in for finding the right solutions
  • You are comfortable working with AI tools, thinking critically about AI outputs, contributing to a culture of responsible AI use and have a willingness to continuously develop your AI capabilities as the technology evolves.
  • You enjoy thinking in processes as much as APIs and push always for a holistic view
  • You are a strong team player and have knowledge of agile methodologies
  • You have excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
