Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer I, you play a pivotal role in shaping product experiences that are intuitive, innovative, and useful for our Pros. You bring strong product design expertise, exceptional aesthetic sensibilities, and a collaborative approach to solving complex customer and business problems.

You work closely with product management, design, engineering, and cross-functional partners to shape product direction, influence strategy, and create unified experiences across the product ecosystem. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution, using customer insights, strong design judgment, and measurable outcomes to guide your decisions. Your work raises the bar for product quality, strengthens the overall design experience, and helps define the next generation of experiences for our Pros.

Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

What you do each day:

Design simple and beautiful product experiences that make a measurable difference in the daily lives of our Pros

Advocate for customer needs while balancing product strategy, business goals, technical considerations, and measurable outcomes

Facilitate and participate in user research and usability testing, synthesizing insights to continually improve experiences and elevate the quality of the product

Shape and expand the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches, wireframes, visual design, and prototypes

Influence product direction through strong design judgment, customer insights, and close partnership with product management, engineering, design, and other cross-functional stakeholders

Present and communicate concepts, design rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders

Strengthen design principles, systems, and repeatable patterns that improve consistency, accessibility, quality, and scalability across the product

Inspire new ideas and experiences by exploring emerging interaction patterns, technologies, and next-generation interfaces

Create guidelines and documentation that connect design intent with the teams building our products and support the delivery of thoughtful, easy-to-use experiences

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex digital products and end-to-end experiences across platforms
  • Proven expertise with modern design platforms (i.e. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and fluency with AI-native tools (i.e. Figma AI, Claude, ChatGPT)
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with and evolving design systems at scale
  • Deep expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, accessibility, interactivity, motion, and established product design patterns
  • Experience collaborating effectively within fast-moving, cross-functional product teams
  • Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation
  • What will help you succeed:
  • A strong and thoughtful design perspective paired with openness to constructive input and the ability to communicate your rationale clearly
  • Relentless attention to detail and commitment to ensuring design quality extends beyond Figma through the final product experience
  • A natural drive to develop deep subject matter expertise while maintaining an understanding of the broader product ecosystem
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring product, engineering, and design toward a shared answer independently
  • A perpetually curious mindset that drives exploration of new ideas, technologies, design approaches, and customer experiences
  • A background with range that allows you to work across disciplines, or a craft you've pushed far enough to teach
  • Personal resilience to learn from scratch, and successfully thrive in ambiguity
