Description

About the company

The company is building America's #1 sports prediction market. Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports trading - taking a closed system run by casinos and turning it into a fair, efficient, two-sided market where the power sits with users.

With the company recently becoming a CFTC-designated market — the fastest designation of its kind in US history— we're bringing the prediction market built for sports fans nationwide.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our small, high-output creative team and help shape how the company shows up in the world.

This is a hands-on IC role with real creative freedom — you’ll work directly with the Head of Creative across brand and product systems, campaign assets, and culture-moving work. This is a rare opportunity to help define a brand still young enough that your fingerprints will be on everything.

Responsibilities

  • Help solidify the company's brand identity and evolve it as we scale. Then be its keeper.
  • Own design concepts with real autonomy, from art direction through execution, across brand, campaign, and marketing work.
  • Act as a strategic design lead. Partner directly with peers in product, marketing, and leadership.
  • Look for places the company's design can level up. If you spot an opportunity worth chasing, pitch it and go make it.
  • Partner with product design to create graphics (icons, illustrations, promotional assets) and branded moments within the app.
  • Direct contract designers on overflow work.
  • What you bring
  • 6-8 years of design experience at top brands, studios, or agencies.
  • A world- class portfolio that showcases your eye and your craft.
  • Impeccable taste. Probably the single most important thing.
  • The confidence to operate with real autonomy.
  • An obsession with craft that doesn’t discriminate by project size. The smallest deliverable gets the same care as the biggest campaign.
  • Range across print and digital. Familiarity with product design is a big plus.
  • Comfort wearing a lot of hats: art director, strategist, designer. Whatever the job needs.
  • A finger on the pulse of art, culture, and design.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Startup pace means sometimes building the plane as we fly it.
  • Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; motion design experience is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Experience directing contract or freelance designers.
  • Experience building or evolving a brand identity from the ground up, ideally at a startup or in-house team.
  • Interest or experience in sports, betting, prediction markets, or other stigmatized/regulated categories.
  • Why work here, in the words of the people who do
  • “I work with extremely stellar people, I own real systems, and decisions happen fast. No politics, no waiting for needless red tape. If something's broken, I fix it. If I build something good, it ships.”
  • “The people! They're smart, thoughtful, fun to work with and passionate about their craft.”
  • “I'm having the most fun I've had in my entire career.”
  • If you want responsibility, trust, and the chance to help build the future of sports prediction markets - take your shot, we’d love to connect.
  • Not for everyone
  • Our work is tied to live sports - that means potential nights, weekends, and pressure included.
  • If you need clear swim lanes, a heavy process, or someone to tell you what to do, this won’t be the right environment.
  • Compensation & benefits
  • $160k – $200k base, benchmarked at top-tier tech companies
  • Meaningful equity for every employee, regardless of role
  • 100% health premiums covered
  • 99% dental & vision covered
  • 401(k) with 4% company match
  • HSA + $1,080 annual company contribution
  • $50/monthly company contribution to employee transit
  • $27/day lunch stipend when working from our NYC office
  • $35/day dinner stipend when working from the NYC office after 6:30pm
  • Homebase
  • Union Square, NYC
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Visa: US citizen/visa only
