About Salesforce

Salesforce is the 1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Role Description

AI Labs is building an emerging product that changes how Salesforce itself gets built. Our agents do the work. What decides whether they do it well is whether they have been taught the right things.

GTM Engineers are the conduit between our go to market teams and our product teams. You sit in the middle: close enough to customers to know what they actually ask for, and close enough to the product to do something about it. You build the skills and references our agents draw on, with a simple target. Eighty percent of what customers ask for should already be handled before anyone starts from scratch.

This role needs someone rare. Strong business judgment, strong operating instincts, and enough technical depth to build. You will spend your morning on a customer requirement and your afternoon on how the product meets it, and you will be equally credible in both conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Be the conduit. Carry what the field and our customers need into Product, and carry what the product can do back out to the field. Nothing gets lost in translation in either direction.
  • Build the skills. Develop the agent skills, references, and reference patterns that let our agents solve the requirements customers ask for most, aimed at covering eighty percent of them out of the box.
  • Find the patterns. Work across many customer requirements and see the shape they share. Build once for the pattern rather than many times for the instance.
  • Toggle between both languages. Translate a business requirement into a technical capability, and a technical capability into a business outcome, without losing precision either way.
  • Prove it works. Test what you build against real customer requirements and real environments before it reaches the field.
  • Operate. Keep a clear view of what is built, what is in progress, and what the coverage actually is. Report it plainly.
  • Leave capability behind. Document and teach what you build so the field can use it without you in the room.
  • Required Experiences & Skills
  • Experience. 5+ years building on the Salesforce platform: Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, data modeling, and integrations. You have shipped to production and supported what you shipped.
  • Business acumen. You understand how customers actually buy and what they are trying to achieve. You can sit with a business leader, get to the real requirement, and know which of it matters.
  • Operating strength. You are organized, you track your own coverage and progress, and you can be trusted with a program without supervision.
  • Both registers. You move between business requirements and technical capabilities comfortably, and you are credible with sales leaders and engineers in the same week.
  • AI native building. You build with AI coding agents in your daily work and you have a clear view of where they are strong and where they need a human.
  • Pattern thinking. You instinctively look for the reusable version of a one off request.
  • Preferred. Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, Application Architect or System Architect). Solution engineering, forward deployed engineering, consulting, or technical product management background. Experience with Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, or Data 360.
  • Education. Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
  • Unleash Your Potential
  • When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best , and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best . Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
