Description

You'll be Luma's creative lead on the ground with major brands and agencies across France, turning what our models can do into production workflows they actually use. Sitting between the technology and the craft, you'll shape how top creators work with generative video, and produce high-craft work in Luma yourself as the proof.

These are foundational Forward Deployed Creative roles in the region, so you'll be defining how partner engagement works here rather than following a set playbook. It fits a senior creative who's comfortable shaping the approach as they go and consulting directly with senior partners. If you'd rather execute an established process, this isn't the fit.

What You'll Own

Partner directly with leading brands and creative agencies as their creative and strategic guide to generative AI.

Architect and prototype AI-accelerated production workflows that help partners move faster and raise their storytelling.

Create hands-on, high-craft content in Luma that sets the bar and becomes inspirational case studies.

Consult with partner leadership, translating technical capability into concrete creative and business opportunities.

Work as an on-the-ground extension of Product, Partnership, and Sales, bringing real-world insight back into the roadmap.

Set the tone and the playbook for how the Forward Deployed Creative function engages partners in the region.

First 90 Days

One way the first 90 could unfold.

Days 1–30 — Immerse & Diagnose: Learn Luma and the models deeply, meet priority partners, and understand their pipelines and where generative AI helps most.

Days 30–60 — Ship & Validate: Build a real AI-accelerated workflow with a partner and produce a high-craft case study from it.

Days 60–90 — Scale & Systemize: Turn what works into repeatable boards and playbooks other FDCs and partners can use.

What You Bring

Senior client-facing creative experience (Creative Director, Creative Technologist, Technical Director, or similar) at a top agency, studio, or tech company.

Fluent in French

An outstanding portfolio of shipped, high-craft work showing taste, technical skill, and storytelling. A portfolio is required.

Deep expertise in creative production pipelines (VFX, animation, motion graphics, or production) and designing new workflows using generative AI

A track record of building new things in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Exceptional communication and presentation, able to act as a strategic consultant to senior creative and business leaders.

Genuine enthusiasm for the creative potential of AI.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with generative AI creative tools (Luma, Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Stable Diffusion).
  • A public profile as a creator or thought leader in emerging tech or generative art.
  • Experience at an innovative agency (e.g. Buck, The Mill) or an in-house tech/brand lab (e.g. Google Creative Lab, Apple Marcom).
  • About Luma: Luma's mission is to build unified general intelligence that can generate, understand, and operate in the physical world. We believe multimodality is critical for intelligence — the next step beyond language models comes from vision. Luma is an equal opportunity employer.
