About Patlytics

Patlytics is the fastest-growing AI-native patent intelligence platform, transforming how intellectual property is protected and monetized at scale. Our advanced LLMs and generative AI engine, custom-built for IP, power every phase of the patent workflow, from invention disclosure through litigation, delivering citation-backed insights with unprecedented accuracy and speed.

Backed by Google’s Gradient Ventures, Next47, and 8VC, with $21 million raised in just nine months, we’re trusted by Fortune 500 companies and leading Am Law 100 firms, including Quinn Emanuel, Google, Koch Industries, Xerox, and Foley & Lardner.

With teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, we’re rapidly building a global organization fueled by exceptional talent and bold ideas. Our growth is driven by people who bring tremendous work ethic, entrepreneurial energy, and intellectual curiosity, united by a shared commitment to setting the global standard for AI-powered IP intelligence.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Lead to own how Patlytics shows up in the market.

This role sits at the intersection of content, social, communications, and PR. You’ll own Patlytics’ external voice across company and executive social channels, earned media, announcements, thought leadership, customer stories, campaigns, and content.

This is not a traditional content marketing role centered around blogs, white papers, and editorial calendars. We need someone who understands how modern technology companies build attention: sharp social content, strong executive voices, earned media, timely commentary, compelling customer stories, and a consistent narrative that cuts through.

You’ll work directly with the VP of Marketing, founders, executives, customers, Product, Sales, and the broader GTM team. You should be an exceptional writer, culturally aware, fast-moving, and deeply online. You know what makes people stop scrolling, what makes a reporter respond, and what makes a sophisticated enterprise buyer pay attention.

Responsibilities

  • Own Patlytics’ content strategy and external voice across social, communications, PR, thought leadership, customer storytelling, and editorial content
  • Own Patlytics’ social presence end to end, including strategy, content creation, publishing, community engagement, and performance across LinkedIn and other priority channels
  • Build a recognizable social presence through sharp POVs, product stories, customer moments, company news, short-form video, event content, and creative campaigns
  • Own executive social and thought leadership, partnering directly with founders and leadership to develop distinctive voices and consistently publish compelling content
  • Own external communications and PR around product launches, funding, partnerships, customer wins, company milestones, and other key moments
  • Build relationships with reporters, editors, podcasts, newsletters, analysts, and other influential voices across technology, AI, legal, and business
  • Proactively identify stories, trends, and timely opportunities where Patlytics can enter the conversation and earn attention
  • Develop Patlytics’ broader messaging and narrative so the company has a clear and consistent point of view across every external channel
  • Create high-impact content across social posts, video, customer stories, case studies, newsletters, campaigns, blogs, events, and other formats
  • Turn one strong idea, launch, customer win, or market insight into multiple pieces of content across social, PR, email, web, events, and sales
  • Develop rapid-response content around relevant AI, legal, patent, and technology news
  • Partner with Growth to turn content into distribution, demand, and pipeline, including supporting SEO and AEO priorities
  • Partner with Events and the broader GTM team to maximize moments before, during, and after major conferences and company events
  • Manage PR agencies, freelancers, creators, designers, and other external resources as needed
  • Measure performance across social growth, engagement, share of voice, earned media, executive reach, organic discovery, target-account engagement, and influenced pipeline

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social, communications, PR, or a combination of these functions, ideally within B2B technology
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills. You can write everything from a two-sentence social post to an executive byline, customer story, or major company announcement
  • Strong social instincts. You understand what performs on LinkedIn and other professional platforms and how to make enterprise content interesting rather than corporate
  • Experience owning company social channels and developing executive thought leadership
  • Experience with PR and external communications, including media relations, launches, announcements, and proactive storytelling
  • Strong instincts around brand voice, messaging, and narrative
  • Experience working directly with founders or senior executives and translating how they think into compelling external content
  • The ability to move fast. You can spot a relevant conversation in the morning and have a smart, on-brand response live that afternoon
  • Strong creative instincts across copy, visual content, and short-form video. You don’t need to be a designer, but you know what great creative looks like
  • Experience marketing to sophisticated enterprise audiences where credibility and precision matter
  • A portfolio that demonstrates range across social, campaigns, communications, thought leadership, and content
  • Based in New York or willing to relocate. This role is in-office in NYC
  • An AI-first mindset. AI should be deeply integrated into how you monitor conversations, research, ideate, create, repurpose, and distribute content
  • Legal tech, AI, enterprise SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, or another technical or high-scrutiny industry
  • Existing relationships with technology, legal, AI, or business media
  • Experience building a company or founder social presence from the ground up
  • Experience creating or producing short-form video
  • Experience managing PR agencies or external communications partners
  • Early-stage experience where you built the function rather than inherited it
  • What Success Looks Like
  • 10 days: Fully ramped on Patlytics’ brand, product, customers, executives, existing social presence, media footprint, and competitive landscape. Knows what’s working, what’s missing, and where the biggest opportunities are.
  • 20 days: Content strategy established. Core narratives, social content pillars, executive voices, media targets, and recurring formats defined.
  • 30 days: New social cadence live across company and executive channels. PR pipeline established. Customer, product, company, and market POV content shipping consistently.
  • 60 days: Clear growth in social reach and engagement. Executives have recognizable voices. Patlytics is generating more earned media and consistently participating in relevant industry conversations.
  • 90 days: Patlytics has a distinctive external voice and a repeatable content engine. Social is growing, executives are building audiences, earned media is increasing, and content is measurably expanding reach and engagement among target buyers.
  • Why This Role
  • Patlytics is building one of the fastest-growing companies at the intersection of AI and intellectual property. There’s no shortage of things to talk about: technology, customers, product launches, major cases, industry shifts, AI developments, company growth, and the people building it.
  • Your job is to turn all of that into attention.
  • You’ll own how Patlytics tells its story, how our executives show up, how we participate in the conversation, and how the market comes to know the brand.
  • This isn’t a role where you’ll just produce content. You’ll own the voice of Patlytics.
