ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The ARCS pod within the Finance and Risk Platform is looking for a Business Systems Analyst. This role has a focus on delivering technology solutions for the ARCS application & delivery roadmap as a whole. As a member of this team, you will help lead onboarding of new reconciliations and data source feeds, manage/support ongoing changes to existing technology, and support strategic initiatives based on priorities of business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define & document system requirements for integrations of user reconciliations and source data feeds to the ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) application
  • Understand and document data mapping requirements; present requirements for each assigned source to Developer & Quality Engineering partners within the pod
  • Hand over requirements to development team and support ongoing communications through the delivery life cycle.
  • Work with Business Analysts and Technology partners to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
  • Manage individual workload & tasks within an Agile pod using Jira software; supported by pod facilitators with daily, weekly and quarterly ceremonies
  • Support Product Owner & Technology Lead to keep business partners informed of work progress via status updates; communicate potential risks with clear and concise recommendation on risk mitigation.
  • Assist in process change efforts by working in collaboration with upstream and downstream stakeholders to detail current state and desired state end-to-end processes.
  • Understanding of business analysis, data and process mapping, quality assurance, project delivery practices and standards across the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques that can contribute to effective solution development/delivery.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and lead problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:
  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate. Business/Technology focused preferred.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience within the financial/banking industry.
  • Sound to advanced knowledge of technology delivery practices and standards, including design, development, testing and project management.
  • Sound to advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
  • Ability to perform work on all aspects of the system analyst process from end-to-end (on projects of moderate to high complexity), under minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to research/investigate, gather and assess information to understand the problem and identify potential solutions.
  • Excellent communication, elicitation, and facilitation skills
  • Able to think critically, beyond the status quo, and provide innovative/creative solutions to existing problems.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key stakeholders informed
  • Strong documentations skills using MS Office tools (incl. Visio diagrams, PowerPoint, etc.)
