Construction doesn't buy "AI". It buys trust - and in this industry trust is built in person, over months, by someone who understands the work. The Business Developer role exists to open the doors that everything else depends on: finding the enterprise accounts that matter, getting into the room with the people who actually own the problem, and building the qualified pipeline our sales team runs on.
This is not a seat behind a dialer. You'll be at the fairs, on the sites, in the car on the way back from Borås with our deployment engineers. Closing is the growth step, and the path there is built into the role.
Responsibilities
Identify and research target enterprise accounts across construction and real estate - prospecting tools, industry networks, creative research
Engage prospects over phone, email, LinkedIn and in person to qualify opportunities and set high-quality meetings
Represent the company at industry events, fairs and customer visits - sourcing opportunities and building the brand in the room
Travel with deployed engineering and sales as the commercial face on-site
Front webinars and digital formats, and build a professional presence that generates inbound
Own the follow-up so no conversation dies after the handshake -every account, contact and touchpoint logged in the CRM
Jump in wherever the company needs hands: campaigns, customer logistics, event execution
You might be a fit if
You have 1–2 years in B2B sales or BD, or a construction/real estate background with commercial instincts
You're fluent in Swedish and English, because most of the work is bilingual
You genuinely enjoy being out meeting people
You handle rejection without it costing you the afternoon
You're curious about technology and can map what AI actually does to a real business process
You're comfortable as a generalist and like that the week changes shape
